Grades 4-6

Every student finds their ideal place in the classroom with Let’s Collab! Though we know that collaboration can be a sticky situation, this module encourages students to learn about the benefits of collaborating with and depending on others. When it comes to adapting to new challenges, communicating with others, and being accountable for their roles in achieving group goals—students will become masters of collaboration and dependence: together! Module activities can be completed at the teacher’s discretion. The module activity for Grades 6-8 requires extensive prior setup! Time required: 30-40 minutes.

Objectives:

• Define collaboration and dependence
• Identify their experiences by collaborating in their own lives.
• Articulate the benefits, challenges, and importance of collaboration.
• Foster healthy dependence with peers.
