This session aims to empower students to discover what truly inspires them by exploring inspiring individuals and reflecting on personal interests and passions. We will delve into the concept of inspiration, learning how it can spark creativity, motivate learning, and fuel personal growth. Through engaging activities, such as researching role models and reflecting on their qualities, students will identify sources of inspiration and learn how to apply these qualities in their own lives. By the end of this workshop, students will have a foundation for setting meaningful goals and cultivating a positive, inspiring outlook that supports lifelong learning and self-belief. Objectives:
This module encourages students to set meaningful goals using Locke’s Goal Setting Theory, which emphasizes specific and challenging goals to boost motivation and performance, and Dweck’s Growth Mindset Theory, which fosters resilience and a positive approach to challenges. Students will create “Inspiration Jars” throughout this interactive activity to capture motivational messages and reflect on strategies to overcome obstacles. By exploring the importance of maintaining inspiration, students will build skills to foster self-awareness, resilience, and a supportive mindset—essential for their journey of personal growth and continuous learning.
